Human Development Index of Binjai Municipality 2020

The publication of the Binjai City Human Development Index (New Method) is published by the Central Bureau of Statistics for the City of Binjai. This publication is presented in the form of a short and concise analysis containing the results or achievements of human development in Binjai City which includes aspects of development in the fields of health, education and economy. Human development as a measure of overall development performance is formed through a three-dimensional approach, namely longevity and healthy, knowledgeable, and a decent living. All indicators that represent these three dimensions are summarized in a single value, namely the Human Development Index (HDI). In 2014, the Central Bureau of Statistics officially calculated HDI using a new method. To maintain the continuity of the series of HDI numbers for the new method, backcasting the HDI for 2010 to 2013 was carried out. This publication presents time series data regarding the development of human development in Binjai City. Hopefully the publication of the human development achievements of Binjai City entitled "Binjai City Human Development Index 2020" is useful for all interested groups, including the user community as a reference material.
