Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is one of the economic indicators that can be used to evaluate the performance of economic development. This indicator can be used as a basis for developing various policy formulations in the economic field. Binjai’s GRDP calculation is done with two approaches; namely, in terms of business field (industry) and expenditure. The “Gross Regional Domestic Product of Binjai Municipality by Expenditure 2016-2020” is an annual publication that specifically addresses the GRDP according to the final expenditure/demand approach. This approach is broken down into several components; such as Household Consumption Expenditures, Consumption Expenditures of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households, Government Consumption Expenditures, Investment (Gross Fixed Capital Formation and Changes in Inventory), Exports and Imports.
